Thumbs up FPV Quadcopter Prince of Wales mine works adventure

    Hi All,

Now that the evenings are starting to get lighter, me and a few friends had the first "after work" flight of the year. I have never been to these ruins of old Cornish mine buildings so decided to explore via FPV. I used some smaller and lighter Lipo batteries for more performance on some of the flights at the cost of less air time but increased fun factor.

Thank you Wooden is correct, its a DJI Phantom 1 but has the Phantom V2 radio tx/rx with a Naza V1 and a Zenmuse H3-2D with vTx, its my friends first large quad (his last being a Hubsan X4), he is much more into the filming so its more of an attachment for his GoPro

Never thought I'd hear someone call a DJI Phantom "large"... Neat little things for videography with all the new gear they've come out with but not very fun to fly in my experience.

Lol that's true, I would not consider a Phantom to be a Large quad but for my friend who's last Multi was a Hubsan X4 then its a huge upgrade. The Phantom is very stable and sits in one spot very nicely but you would catch me flying one for fun, it wouldn't last 5 minutes doing close proximity like my frame. Also at least twice the price of mine its not a option for me.
