Gopro REALLY don't like cold weather... hard to get them running
And the short run was caused by... jamming, first time I been experienced that... my 1280 was jammed and I was not able to go far... So, since it is a 200mw I was using, I was thinking this was the vTx, but, try my ZII and had the same behavior with a 400mw, and I did often more than 1km with it. To me sure, I did about 2km, with my tri when I went home... Bad jamming... damn!

How cold was it? I haven't had jamming.. Only had condensation problems in my camera box

was probably around -20c -25c I'm not sure, but, we had warm the craft a bit to boot it up!
