Oh, I thought you'd never notice! Yes please! Right now the problem is that when I'm going right up above the whip antenna I loose the signal after a quite low altitude. Say 75-100m, then blackout. I did consider angling the transmitter whip so that half of the doughnut would go up and half of it down to me, but that didn't seem so nice to the onboard electronics for RFI.
Have you done many clover leafs? How much range do you loose to win the ability of a more spread out "beam"?

Thanks! I have no idea, but I'd guess somewhere between 75 and 100m... I can only tell from the photo's, no logging was made.
