Took some photos today of my first quad build - this is a design project at my university (we are implementing auto-landing using an ultrasonic sensors to determine altitude relative to ground and velocity at which the quad is approaching the ground). It's been flying for about a month now, still working on our piloting skills and getting the quad tuned correctly.
My roommate took most of these pictures (he's wearing the hat/sweatshirt), except the ones where he is flying, obviously. The build is a constant work in progress - our frame is on the heavy side so we are always working to lighten it up. We also recently broke one leg off so it's flying without landing gear for the time being - this will change soon.
Thanks AQ for making this possible!
