    Lightbulb Nitro Quadcopter

    Hello forum.
Pretty new here, been messing with Arduino for a while and am now building a copter with an aluminum frame, v1.9 shield, and Hextronix motors.
I am just curious if anyone has ever tried building a large quadcopter with gas engines? I realize that the throttle response is a limitation but what if one were to use a constant RPM and variable pitch propellers?
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone on here has tried this or heard of anyone trying it.

I'm curious of your abilities to use search engines like Google.
You won't believe how many asked that same question.

This might be one of the more successful ones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esNJG...eature=related

Here is a video of an electric variable pitch quad-copter that was developed in japan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkSx3fSz0tE . This is the first video I have seen of a quad transitioning to upside down flight while in the air. pretty impressive.

The HG3 was pitch controlled central electric

Pipposoth (+ others) is building this (and more ).
The HG3 V2 has double engine electric+stroke motor and it is a work in progress
He is a friend of mine and he lives very close to me

    Ciao

One still has counter rotating pairs increase pitch on two and lower on two. Similar to motor power.
