    Drive your brushed DC quad motors such as in Parrot Drone or Silverlit X-UFO straight from the AQ 2.0 shield's designated LED driver. It's perfect for the task! You can even make a septocopter using that.

    Seriously, yes. I'm not joking. I've read the datasheets for the ULN-2003A ( http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/uln2003a.pdf ) and it can deliver 7x 500mA (3.5A total) and the outputs can be paralleled and also they got clamping diodes on them so that you can drive inductive loads such as brushed DC motors.

    It is seriously possible indeed. If you doubt me, I'll be forced to show you a 2.0 shield driving my Silverlit X-Ufo's motors...
