Well, a lot has happened since my last post.
I got the stuff eventually and was able to build my first two / three frames. Stopped using araldite and started just to bolt it together... Glue just doesnt sound right does it?
Trying to fly it was a different animal completely. I just couldn't get it from flipping over. Then I read this thread in here about using negative P values for Roll and Pitch. Not sure the article was realy related at all but I just
So yes, I ordered a number of items from HobbyKing, also some stuff that was not in stock. That prooved to be a huge mistake as I also read on the HobbyKing site it could take forever for items to be restocked. So after a couple of weeks waiting I changed my order, which was handeled very professionaly by HK and yes they shipped my order on may 13. Nevertheless, it didn't reach my address in Holland yet....

Today I decided to start building my first quad. Last year in a toystore nearby I almost bought a stirofoam flimsy little quadcopter but when I thought of the intended use options (lift a camera with it) I decided not to buy it as it looked like it would be challenged to lift only it's own weight. Then a couple of weeks back my brother told me that he too was pondering the thought of bulding his own quad and that triggered me to finaly start working on it.
