Hi all,
Well, a lot has happened since my last post.

I got the stuff eventually and was able to build my first two / three frames. Stopped using araldite and started just to bolt it together... Glue just doesnt sound right does it?

Trying to fly it was a different animal completely. I just couldn't get it from flipping over. Then I read this thread in here about using negative P values for Roll and Pitch. Not sure the article was realy related at all but I just gave it a try. Imediately the behaviour improved. It didn't want to flip anymore and I even got it in the air. Unfortunately I crashed it one time to many when I used the old "positive" P settings so now I am back to doing what I did for so long to begin with..... Waiting for supplies, props this time....

My local RC store owner tried to convince me that useing clockwize props and just flip them over to make them anti-clockwize. This was -I think- the most stupid idea that can be thought of. Please don't fall for it no matter how newby you are.

I am trying to keep track of stuff that happens related to the new developments and I am curious about the intentions Mikro has with regards to the v2.0 shield and software. I truly hope that the ArduCopter endeavours are not going to damage this project to much... A lot of people have started an AeroQuad project for good reasons and have invested in it...

Perhaps Mikro could shed some light on the intensions.

Best,
Eric-Jan

You should advice that store owner to change his profession! Did he ever looked on the things he sells?
