Sicarius and I tried our hand at flying in and amongst the trees in the local park. It was a bit hair raising at times and we managed to get through 8

Hexa FPV + camera ship build

    I haven't flown this copter in a while. It's a DJIF550 so the motors are 550mm apart. 10" props.

Been working on getting the Evvaldis

Breathed life into my original quad parts

All the NTM prop drive motors chew through current like nobodies business... anything rated over 300W is super overkill IMO.

    I ended up selling

    Extruded aluminum Fuselage H-quad

The two without a heat sink were previously mounted directly to an aluminum crossbar - the thought was to conduct the heat directly to the body like wood

    Transmitter Case

The foam is very soft, as is the case material. I'd be surprised if they were compressed at all.

    Transmitter Case

Be careful that your propellers aren't distorted by being under the Tx.
They could take on a permanent set which won't help with vibrations.

    Transmitter Case

Last summer, I bought a Futaba 8FG and immediately decided I was happy just putting it in my car or backpack, so I made a case for it. Meant to post up

Breathed life into my original quad parts

It could be the water.. Ive never had the urge to get expensive motors to be honest.. Usually you get 7 chinese for the price of one german or Americanmade

Breathed life into my original quad parts

I'm beginning to wonder if some moisture didn't cause the issue. I had been flying FPV and doing some flips, messed one up at a low altitude and somehow

    Extruded aluminum Fuselage H-quad

If you pushed them against the aluminum frame well enough, you'd have yourself an enormous heat sink. Or in the summer you'd have a hot plate =P Seems
