My neighbors house went up in flames today. Figured I'd fly for real and see how it reacts. Didn't want to be too close or too high, had no idea if I grabbed the charged or used battery out of the box and had the sun in my eyes higher up.

Extremely sorry to hear about the fire. I hope that your neighbor has been coping with the event with tranquility and patience. Convey my best wishes to them. And thank you for reporting. The flames looks pretty intensive.

There was a fire at FPV-Lefis local community just recently and he covered it with the quad

Too bad about the fires...

But oh... How is that crazy guy even able to do such super high quality extremely smooth stuff?! And fly directly above the fire? That is for sure the most smooth video from a quad that I have ever seen!

I think one of the main tricks is to shoot in 60fps and playback in 30fps. For this fire in Granvin it was an old inhabitated but local community significant house so no lives were at risk apparently.

Good that noone got hurt there at least.

But well... I "shoot in 60fps" too, but no way am I getting FPV-Leif-video's! :P Must be something else... Maybe there's a leprechaun in his craft really flying it!

Honk, in the last seconds of the video you can see it´s a Hexa!

Indeed you can, too bad that video quality doesn't improve proportionally to number of motors though! :)
