You do understand that is done with about 100k in motion capture equipment .. dont you ??

See the bright lights .. they allow a camera in the lab to watch the EXACT postion of the quads. And then all commands are sent to them via normal radio links.

The quads themselves are quite stupid.

Me too... We're handed out last years "2-wheel robot" projects to do the same thing again with them... :( Either I find another education facility fast or I quit...

About those cool motion camera control quads: they've been up a thousand times. I've read quite much about them, and they are doing seriously good work. How do you think it can/will be implemented outside the lab? Or maybe one purpose would be to make storage handling robots, that go and collect packages autonomously instead of big trucks. What do you think?
